The William Rast collection for spring-summer 2009 marks the debut of new yorkese Justin Timberlake and Trace Ayala. A debut certainly expected, but in my opinion not entirely successful. The collaborations were so many, but not always, I would say, unity is strength.

The reason for fund collection, the American soul with its thousands colorature and free spirit and wild that there inevitably leads to immense grasslands and adventurous pioneers, seems to lag at times, as if lacking originality. A reworking perhaps unable to vivify and revive that immense cultural heritage and folklore on which each country bases its identity.
